Linda Ronstadt’s grandfather Friedrich Ronstadt founded the F Ronstadt Company. The F. Ronstadt Company was later run by two of Frederico's sons, Edward and Gilbert, Linda Ronstadt's father, for about 40 years, specializing in hardware, machinery and industrial supplies. Its storefront at 70 N. Sixth Ave. operated from 1947 to 1984 and is now the site of the Ronstadt Transit Center.
