A total of 7,843 under 40 horsepower tractors were sold in the U.S. in February 2024, according to the latest data from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers. (AEM). This represents a 10.5% year-over-year decline from 8,760 units sold in February 2023. Year to date sales U.S. sales were 13,749, down 18% year-over-year.

Canadian compact tractor sales in February 2024 were down even more, showing a 23.8%. year-over-year decline to 669 units sold. AEM reported 1,459 units have been sold year to date in 2024, down 27.3% year-over-year.
