Toro has confirmed the company recently laid off around 100 employees, according to a Nov. 9 report from FOX 9 Minneapolis. In a statement provided to FOX 9, the company said, "While always difficult decisions, we did a reduction in workforce that affected approximately 100 employees in total, across our entire global workforce."
In its annual report filed with the SEC Dec. 22, 2022, Toro stated it had 11,287 employees as of Oct. 31, 2022.
In the last 6 months, Husqvarna, Briggs & Stratton, Ariens and now Toro has announced layoffs.
