As part of the annual vote on the coolest product manufactured in the great state of Wisconsin (where Rural Lifestyle Dealer is based), Ariens has entered its 90th Anniversary Limited Edition Sno-Thro.

California Looks to Ban Watering Decorative Grass

California dealers' lawncare customers might be losing some business with California's new push to ban watering "nonfuctional" decorative turf, like turf on medians. Bill AB 1572 outlaws the use of potable water for nonfuctional grass at commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional properties. The legislation is partly driven by a shrinking Colorado river and low reservoir levels and will look to use "natives and drought-resistant plants" as replacements, including trees and certain flowers.
