Retired Land Pride President Launches Golf App
World-class mowing equipment and golf have always gone hand-in-hand, but we’ve learned the pairing can create 2nd careers for equipment lifers, too. Rural Lifestyle Dealer caught up with retired Land Pride President John Quinley, a 40-year veteran of the Great Plains Mfg. who joined the fledgling rural lifestyle equipment division in its earliest days. Now retired, the scratch golfer, son Kevin and 2 friends devised a revolutionary way to score golf with a companion app. With a concept he describes as a classic “risk/reward” situation, the GPS-powered app is loaded with 38,000 courses and Par Points Golf has already generated 10,000 subscribers.

Ohio State senior tight end Cade Stover has taken a unique approach on NIL compensation. "Money-wise? I don’t know. I’d rather get paid in tractors, to be honest with you," Stover said when asked about his NIL earning, according to a team insider Griffin Storm.
Richard Bryan Sets the Stage at 2023 Dealership Minds Summit
The dealer attendees made an impression on keynote speaker Richard Bryan. After presenting at the Dealership Minds Summit on Aug. 1, Bryan had this to say, “The thing that impressed me most about the audience was whilst many of them have very large and successful dealerships in multiple different states they are still focused on continuous learning and growing as leaders in their industry and in their communities. No doubt, after this 2 day event learning with their peers they will be primed to have even greater success!”
