Tractor Mike Breaks Down Latest AEM Flash Report
Latest figures on tractor sales are out from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. What a mixed bag! Small tractor sales are dropping and inventory is rising. Large tractor and combine sales are robust and on the biggest equipment, inventory levels are very low. Figures released this week by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers show that U.S. sales of all brands of tractors under 40 horsepower stood at 86,389 for the first half of the year, compared to 99,333 last year. That's a drop of 13%! The 40-100 hp group was also down, from 31,999 a year ago to 29,375 this year, or an 8.2% drop. Inventory levels are also up in both classes.
Graze, Inc. & Robin Autopilot to Test Robotic Mowers at Dallas Airport
Robin Autopilot, a manufacturer of robotic mowing and landscaping technology, and Graze, Inc., a developer of fully autonomous commercial electric lawn mowers, have announced an initiative that will test both companies' solutions for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), which manages over 14,000 acres of grass.
