We've all gotten strange phone calls from different kinds of scammers, most of which are easy to spot. One dealer, however, was approached with a more complex scam to buy one of their tractors and took to the internet to share how he spotted and avoided losing out on a decent chunk of money.

No-Till Farmer (a sister publication to Rural Lifestyle Dealer) editor Frank Lessiter was surprised with more Hall of Fame hardware, this time from the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) at the 2023 annual meeting and farm tour in Frankenmuth, Mich. He was introduced as the 4th inductee in the organization’s 40-year history as the “Johnny Appleseed of Conservation Tillage” for providing a vehicle for growers to learn from one another about no-till farming.
