A Dealer's Checklist for Annual Mower Maintenance
John Deere dealer AKRS Equipment recently took a proactive approach to its customers' service needs and provided the following mower maintenance checklist through AgUpdate. In addition to helping folks understand what they need to look at, it also includes a call to action at the end — contacting AKRS Equipment directly or looking into the supplies customers will need to do it themselves.
Deere Tops List of Companies with the Best Reputations
John Deere recently came in 3rd place on the 2023 Axios Harris Poll 100 reputation rankings survey, the only ag company on the list. Deere was beaten only by Costco and Patagonia.

I'd wager that most of us have seen at least one episode of the early 2000s hit TV series "Pimp My Ride," hosted by hip-hop artist Xzibit. Well, if the end of the series in 2007 left you missing the artistry of the cars, we've got a little something for you: an equally "pimped out" zero-turn mower.
Throwback: Dixie Chopper Restarts Manufacturing After Acquisition by Alamo
At the 2019 GIE+EXPO, Rural Lifestyle Dealer caught up with Dixie Chopper National Sales Manager Warren Evans to discuss the next steps for the company following its acquisition by Alamo Group. The acquisition had been announced a few months prior and at the time, Warren told dealers manufacturing would begin around Thanksgiving.
