According to a Nov. 13 report from Muskoka Region, now 5-store dealer Oaken Equipment opened its 5th location — Bobcat of Muskoka — on Nov. 10.

The dealership will open with 7 employees and is expected to have 12 within the next 2 years. Oaken Equipment employees over 100 people.

“Every market that we operate in is different. We get that. There is no one-size-fits-all, but excellent customer service is excellent customer service,” Oaken Equipment President Kai Sorensen told Muskoka Region. “I don’t care where you go, the product is consistent across all locations but the team and how we work with the local community is critical — that’s why we want local people here.”

Bobcat of Muskoka's primary markets will include landscaping and home and commercial construction.
