Electric UTV Catches Fire at Automotive Tradeshow

At the recently held 2022 SEMA Show, a tradeshow focusing on the automotive industry, one unlucky exhibitor suffered the same fate as a certain DeWalt mower did at this year's Equip Expo. Footage from the event shows the gray, unbranded UTV smoking in the parking lot of the show as firefighters attempt to put it out. Generac Founder Passes Away at 96

The industry recently lost an important figure. Generac announced on Nov. 9 the passing of its founder Robert Kern at the age of 96. Kern started the company in his garage in Wales, Wis., in 1959 and sold it in 2006 to shift his focus to philanthropy.

Stihl Warns of Fake Stihl Products During Holiday Season

The rural lifestyle industry isn't safe from counterfeiting. Stihl put out a statement on Nov. 10 on Twitter letting folks know about a number of companies selling fake Stihl products that can appear to be legitimate. Hopefully this doesn't lead to too many disappointing Christmas mornings for consumers, and it serves as a great reminder of the quality assurance customers get when they go to a dealer instead of searching for a "deal" online.
