Kioti is set to take its first steps into the compact construction market with the launch of its SL750 skid steer and TL750 compact track loader in the first half of 2023, according to a Nov. 2 report from Equipment World.
Kioti reportedly introduced the concept to dealers at the end of 2020 but supply chain issues pushed the original 2022 launch date into 2023.
Jason Boerger, Kioti product manager, told Equipment World all the manufacturing, engineering and designing is being done in-house.
“A lot of the specs will look very similar to some of the things you see in the industry, but we always try right out of the gate to one-up each other and come up with a new model," Boerger said.
The specs for the machines are as follows:
SL750
- Engine: Kioti 74 horsepower
- Tipping Load: 5,380 lbs.
- Rated Operating Capacity: 2,689 lbs.
- Operating Weight: 8,157 lbs.
- Lift Height To Hinge Pin: 126.6 inches.
TL750
- Engine: Kioti 74 horsepower
- Operating Weight: 9,315 lbs.
- Tipping Load: 6,570 lbs.
- Rated Operating Capacity: 2,300 lbs.
- Lift Height To Hinge Pin: 126.4 in.
The reported stated Kioti has around 500 dealers in North America.
