The latest market data report from Constellation Data Solutions shows that tractor dealers saw a 6% drop in revenue year-over-year in September. This follows a 14% increase in August and a 9% decline in July. This data is based on “same store” results of dealers who have submitted data each month for 3 years in a row.

In the U.S., tractor dealers reported September revenue was down 47%. Canadian dealers reported a 29% revenue decline for the month. The South saw the largest declines at –55%. This was the 6th month in a row Southern tractor dealers reported revenue declines. In the Northeast, dealers reported revenue in September was down 43%, and in the West dealers reported a 48% drop. For Midwest tractor dealers, revenue was down 40% year-over-year in September.

The report is based on 1,553 dealers, who during the month sold 290,000 new wholegoods units and did $5 billion in total sales.
