The latest market data report from Constellation Data Solutions shows that OPE dealers saw a 1% increase in revenue year-over-year in September. This follows an 5% decline in August and 19% drop in July. This data is based on “same store” results of dealers who have submitted data each month for 3 years in a row.
In the U.S. revenue was down 9% compared to flat for Canadian OPE dealers. On a regional basis, the Midwest reported the highest decline at down 16%, followed by the Northeast (–14%), the South (–5%) and the West (–3%).
The report was based on 2,126 dealers, who during the month sold 4 million wholegoods units and did $8 billion in total sales.
