The latest market data report from Constellation Data Solutions shows that OPE dealers saw a 12% drop in revenue year-over-year in August. This follows an 18% decline in July and 3% drop in June. This data is based on “same store” results of dealers who have submitted data each month for 3 years in a row.
In the U.S. revenue was down 11% compared to down 24% for Canadian OPE dealers. On a regional basis, the Northeast reported the highest decline at down 20%, followed by the Midwest (–12%), the South (–9%) and the West (–3%).
The report was based on 2,120 dealers, who during the month sold 4 million wholegoods units and did $8 billion in total sales.
