The latest market data report from Constellation Data Solutions shows that OPE dealers saw a 20% drop in revenue year-over-year in July. This follows a 4% decline in June and flat revenue growth in May. This data is based on “same store” results of dealers who have submitted data each month for 3 years in a row.
In the U.S. revenue was down 20% compared to down 8% for Canadian OPE dealers. On a regional basis, the South reported the highest decline at down 23%, followed by the Northeast (–21%), the Midwest (–19%) and the West (–8%).
The report was based on 2,103 dealers, who during the month sold 4 million wholegoods units and did $8 billion in total sales.
