Field of Dreams Turf Care
The cornfields that surround the Field of Dreams game that pit the Chicago Cubs up against the Cincinnati Reds in Dysersville, Iowa, caught a lot attention. But, you can’t play ball in a corn field. To get the field ready for the big-time of MLB took expert lawn & turf care. The Cubs took the W this year, and we’ll have to wait and see if MLB makes a return because the land around the film site is being converted into an $80 million youth sports complex. They’re going to need a lot of mowers to maintain all those fields!

Ariens in the Early Years
The Ariens Company, who today is best known for their mowers and snow throwers, introduced the Tiller as its first mass produced product in 1933. You can find more of Ariens’ early products at the AriensCo Museum, located in the original Ariens factory building in Brillion, Wis. The museum offers a walk-through tour featuring interactive exhibits and vintage equipment. The museum experience highlights how our machines shaped the American outdoor power equipment industry.

Central Equipment’s Suppliers Congratulate the Business on 50 Years
To celebrate its 50th anniversary as a locally owned business, Central Equipment asked customers, employees and business partners they’ve worked with over the past 5 decades to discuss their thoughts on Central Equipment as it is today, and its past 50 years of business. This video focuses on those in the Agriculture and Outdoor Power Equipment manufacturing industries that have been business partners to Central Equipment, working alongside our staff to service our shared customers in the Greater Lexington area.
A Look at Van Wall’s Tech Training for UTV & Light Construction Equipment
While there are certainly challenges in finding good, qualified large ag technicians, Van Wall has noticed a significant gap in the UTV, power sports and light construction areas for technicians. The program will be split between Des Moines Area Community College’s campus and Van Wall’s training center on the Farm Progress grounds in Des Moines.
