Despite the prevalence of new and growing forms of online advertising, direct mail campaigns are still an effective way to reach customers. In fact, according to a Direct Marketing Assn. study, the typical response rate to direct mail campaigns is in the 3% range, a far greater success rate than the .12% response rate for email.

With the right audience, a creative design and a bulletproof strategy, your results can be significant. However, good results don’t necessarily come easy. Your business will need to have a well-laid-out plan to effectively run a campaign using direct mail.
