Compact Tractor Sales Up in July

Unit sales of under 40 horsepower tractors sales were strong across North America, according to the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers Ag Tractor and Combine Report for July 2017.

Comparing July 2017 to July 2016, unit sales of under 40 horsepower tractors were up 2.5% in the U.S. Year-to-date sales were up 11%. For Canada, comparing this July to last July, unit sales of under 40 horsepower tractors were up 14.8% and year-to-date sales were up 25.9%.

Unit sales of 40-100 horsepower tractors in the U.S. were up 3.5% compared with last July and down 0.4% year-to-date. In Canada, unit sales of 40-100 horsepower tractors were down 19.8% compared with last July and up 9.9% year-to-date.
